Organisations, churches and individuals across the world are coming together for the Global Day of Prayer to End Famine on Sunday 21st May 2017.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in

A call to action by the World Council of Churches and the All Africa Conference of Churches, the Global Day of Prayer is a faith-based response to the current hunger crisis in the world.

More people face famine today than any time in modern history.

Famine has been declared in areas of South Sudan, while Somalia, Nigeria and Yemen are on the brink of famine.  More than 20 million people are at risk of starvation and many millions more are food insecure. At the start of 2017, 108 million people across the world required lifesaving food assistance, a 35% increase from the year before.

Feba is proud to partner with and support this broad coalition in prayer to end this suffering.  Join us.

Coming together worldwide - across countries, languages and traditions - we hope to join the call to overcome hunger and famine through our prayers and actions.

Food is more than a human right; it is a divine gift that cannot be impeded.

The Global Day of Prayer website has further suggestions for prayer or you can add your own prayer to their #PrayToEndFamine Prayer Wall.
