Christ comes to bring love to listeners like *Anika, who regularly listens to a radio programme about the rights of women.

Anika contacted our local partner:

“When I was listening to Hamari Beriyan [radio programme] there are tears in my eyes – it feels like you are with me. I am from an educated family. After I did my MA I got married to a man who is a graduate. I believed that he would get a job after we married but still now he is jobless. Looking at my situation, my parents request me to leave my children and remarry with another person. But I don’t agree. I stick to the vows of my marriage. If something is wrong between couples we have to compromise with each other. These days people are taking divorce with simple reasons which is not good.”

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail

Lamentations 3:22

Love = knowing that we are important and that we matter. God’s love gives us life and strength. It gives us that inner confidence that we have a purpose and a bright future. We are accepted because of the power of God’s love.

When we receive God’s love in our lives we are able to love ourselves and others. We all have a deep longing and need to be loved and we experience love through the kindness of other people.

God chose to use us as his hands and feet, to reach out to our neighbours in love.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them

I John 4: 16

Pray for India: Pray for the work of Feba India especially as they seek to demonstrate God’s love, supporting women to meet their full potential and make a difference in their families and communities.
