On the southernmost tip of Spain, in the town of La Linea de la Concepción, Feba partners with Reach Beyond’s Radio Vida (Radio Life), which has a God-given vision to reach the Moroccan diaspora from North Africa with the good news of Jesus. Earlier this year it started airing Arabic programmes in an effort to reach the large Moroccan population who live near the station. Positive feedback from new listeners is bringing great encouragement to presenters and there is much excitement for the future and the year ahead.

MONDAY 1st August

Praise God for the strategic location of Radio Vida that allows the team to reach an audience of Spanish speakers as well as many who speak Moroccan Arabic in the area. Please pray for the producers as they look at how to modify the content and schedules for the Arabic language programmes to suit the needs of the local community.

TUESDAY 2nd August

With increasing numbers of Christian refugees and asylum seekers passing through this part of Spain, please pray for an exciting initiative to provide portable studios and specialist media training to engage and disciple these vulnerable people groups in their own heart languages. (Romans 10:17)

WEDNESDAY 3rd August

We thank God for the testimony of a local Moroccan believer, “F”, that the team has recorded recently. Please pray for wisdom as the production team edits this powerful testimony into 10 episodes and then prepares to air these programmes using a range of media channels to connect with the local Arabic-speaking community.

Please note, there will be no online prayer meeting this evening. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 7 September when we are hoping to hear directly from our Feba partners. For full details see www.feba.org.uk/prayermeeting

THURSDAY 4th August

Please pray for God's guidance as Radio Vida seeks to appoint a full-time Station Manager. Radio Vida has other urgent full-time staffing needs including an office administrator, and personnel to oversee maintenance and information systems. Pray that committed followers of Jesus will hear and answer the call to take up these important posts. (Philippians 4:19)

FRIDAY 5th August

Praise God for a new relationship that Radio Vida is developing with a major Christian educational institution. As well as receiving potential project funding, Radio Vida is hoping to have access to a range of educational resources they can adapt and share on air in a variety of languages.

SATURDAY 6th August

Please pray for all those involved in planning an evangelistic event in Algeciras in October 2022, especially representatives from many local churches. Algeciras is the largest city on the Bay of Gibraltar and is within the broadcast range of Radio Vida. Pray that this outreach will open doors and strengthen ties between Radio Vida and the local church community. (Acts 1:8)
