Feba Pakistan operates and broadcasts in an environment where there is insecurity and the constant threat of violence. The team is helping to address local issues and change attitudes in Pakistan by training local broadcasters. Working alongside other Christian partners, the team is developing the use of community radio to speak to the needs of their own communities, helping to reduce fear and bring hope to local people.

SUNDAY 7th August

Feba Pakistan held a successful National Listener’s conference in June attended by listeners from 17 cities and villages. Praise God that 65 seekers from different backgrounds also participated and joined in Bible studies over the four days. Please pray for God's wisdom, protection and the leading of the Holy Spirit, especially for those seeking to follow Jesus in a nation that is vehemently opposed to the Christian faith. (Mark 8:34)

MONDAY 8th August

The team has plans to produce a series of booklets for listeners who ask for advice about a range of topics, from how to follow Jesus, to issues relating to prayer, fasting, marriage, divorce, money, love, and forgiveness. Please pray for God's guidance and provision as the team seeks to write, produce and print these much-needed booklets and then distribute them freely to all who request them.

TUESDAY 9th August

Please pray for the 'Couple's Seminar' that FEBA Pakistan is organising for listeners' families. The aim is to share the values and concept of Christian family life with non-believers. Ask for God's blessing and protection over all those who are planning to attend this seminar. May they experience His peace, restoration and hope at the heart of their marriage and family life. (Romans 15:13)

WEDNESDAY 10th August

Staff at Feba Pakistan are currently doing various training courses to develop their professional skills and strengthen their leadership potential. This is an exciting time of transition as the team is also in the process of hiring new staff to fill several key posts across the organisation. Please pray for all those involved in training and recruiting at this challenging time, and where resources, including Christian personnel, are becoming even more scarce. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

THURSDAY 11th August

Please pray for the follow-up teams who engage with different audiences via shortwave and FM radio, Facebook and other social media platforms and websites. Ask the Lord for His patience, guidance, and love as they gently listen and offer wise counsel and godly advice. Please pray for more opportunities to help people discover a saving faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-10)

FRIDAY 12th August

As Pakistan faces increasing political instability and a rapidly worsening economic crisis, please pray for the Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif and his government as they struggle to tackle soaring inflation and rising cases of Covid-19. More and more people are falling into extreme poverty in the wake of uncontrolled price hikes in recent months. Please ask the Lord for His provision, grace, and healing to bring stability across this turbulent country.

SATURDAY 13th August

Please pray for creativity and inspiration for the production teams, artists and writers as they work together to communicate the Gospel message effectively and sensitively through a variety of platforms and broadcast media. Pray that the message of hope will reach the hearts of all those listening and engaging with the team. (Ephesians 2:10)
