Feba supports work amongst a nomadic people group of 1.5 million people in NE Africa. This mainly Muslim group spans three countries. Their lifestyle of constantly being on the move makes them especially difficult to reach and hampers church planting efforts. In recent months, flooding and conflict in the areas where they live have caused many to scatter and seek higher ground and new pastures. A daily radio programme is produced and broadcast in this language on short wave.

TUESDAY 1st March

Things continue to remain unstable in the regions the team serve. Civil war has severely disrupted the lives of the people in this hard-to-reach place, further complicating the work of our partners as they seek to follow up with listeners and support new believers face to face. It has also made it increasingly difficult to distribute resources as many are displaced and suspicious and afraid. Please pray for the team as they make difficult decisions about how to reach their listeners and find ways of meeting safely together.

WEDNESDAY 2nd March

Please pray for the relief efforts taking place across various regions, as teams look to support those displaced by the war. Inter-ethnic fighting continues to cause distress for communities as they seek safer places and leave behind their homes, placing them at greater risk of food shortages and access to support. Pray that God will provide all that is needed and make a way for the team to support those hurting and in pain right now.

Please join us at our online prayer meeting this evening where we will hear directly from our Feba partners in Yemen– – where conflict continues, and many are also experiencing food shortages. For full details see www.feba.org.uk/prayermeeting

THURSDAY 3rd March

Due to ongoing fighting, all the men recently inducted into the local militia, in an area where the team work regularly, have been sent to the front line. Many of these are pastoral leaders that the team have built relationships with, and who have been growing in their own personal faith. Pray that God will go with them, protect them and create opportunities for them to share the gospel and the truth about Jesus in such challenging and dangerous contexts. Pray that the team might have wisdom as they find ways to continue supporting these men as they move to the front line.

FRIDAY 4th March

The team share that despite these times of instability and suffering, many are still eager to hear God’s word. Praise God for these opportunities to share the Good News and for those discovering scripture and the truth about Jesus for the first time. Pray that those seeking God in these moments and through these conversations will find His loving embrace and compassion and know how deeply loved they are. (Luke 11:9).

SATURDAY 5th March

Ask God to continue to provide for the team, and in particular, their main trainer, as he disciples local pastoral leaders, praying for good health and wellbeing over this ministry and all those involved. Please pray as they plan and prepare for new opportunities to develop the ministry, including social media outreach projects. May God provide wisdom and guidance, as well as team members gifted and skilled in these new areas.
