Just as Jesus cared for the whole person – body, mind and soul – our project partners in Nepal follow His example by addressing a wide range of issues. Our partner radio stations at Afno FM, serve communities in Okhaldhunga (east Nepal) and Dadeldhura (west Nepal) sharing the good news and the personal transformation that only Jesus can bring.

SUNDAY 6th November

Afno FM has launched two new Christian radio programmes – 'Our Daily Bread' and 'Rest in Christ Jesus'. One is recorded in the station's new studio in Nepal, while the other is recorded in Australia. We thank God for fresh opportunities to share the gospel through these sponsored programmes and pray that many new listeners will come to know Jesus and put their faith and trust in Him. (Philippians 3:10)

MONDAY 7th November

Please pray for the team that is building a new radio station to reach out to the minority Muslim community in Madhesh Province – Nepal's most populous province in the southeast region of the country. Pray for the funding and resources that are needed to develop this new station and recruit the programming team to engage with unreached Muslims in the province. (Romans 10:17)

TUESDAY 8th November

We give thanks for all the Christian community radio stations in Nepal and pray for a powerful sense of unity as they pray and work together with Afno FM to build the kingdom of God in one of the world's poorest and least developed countries. Feba's partners in Nepal face many challenges at both local and government levels and especially from increasing opposition to the gospel coming from Hindu people. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

WEDNESDAY 9th November

The team at Afno FM has recently provided training in making and editing radio programmes for a number of new stations in the region. Please pray for these new stations as they break new ground for the gospel. There is an acute shortage of Christian volunteers to take on key roles at these stations. May God provide the people and the resources to ensure this good work continues until all have heard. (Philippians 1:6)

THURSDAY 10th November

Nepal celebrated two major festivals in October starting with 'The Dasain and Tihar' when people return home to celebrate with their families. These can be difficult and even dangerous times, especially for those who have recently committed their lives to Christ. Please pray for those who are facing harsh opposition and rejection by family members for their Christian faith. During the festival of 'Deepawali' at the end of October, many churches held youth camps. Please pray for the young people who heard and responded to the good news of Jesus for perhaps the first time in their lives.

FRIDAY 11th November

Afno FM is currently expanding its presence on social media channels. As they upload short videos and powerful gospel messages, please pray that these will be picked up and shared widely, especially among young people who have little or no contact with any local churches in Nepal. (Psalm 119:105)

SATURDAY 12th November

The population of Nepal is going to the polls on Sunday 20 November to choose a new government. Please pray for all the candidates that are standing in this election. May God raise up men and women who are open to working positively and collaboratively with Christians to bring about a more just and stable country. (Proverbs 19:17)
