Our ministry partner in Central Asia runs several ministries including an online streaming service in an environment that is hostile to evangelism. Their growing depository of free Christian literature, music and messages is the only one available in the region and provides discipleship and other materials for download to Churches. Listeners are from a predominantly Muslim background where conversion to Christianity can lead to social isolation. This week we are praying for the Dilkash Radio project that aims to reach 18 to 35 year-olds.

SUNDAY 6th February

Our ministry partners in Central Asia continue to experience opposition from hostile audiences and officials keen to stop the spread of the gospel in this region. Please lift up the team as they faithfully serve in this environment, strengthen them and embolden them that they might continue without fear. Pray too for those visitors who wish to harm and threaten the team, ask that God will soften their hearts and open their eyes so that they might turn towards Him and repent. Joshua 1:9

MONDAY 7th February

The team continue to prepare for the year ahead and ask for prayer for the ongoing spiritual growth of each member. It is so important that as they seek to lead each project, programme and speaker response that they too draw closer and stronger in their personal relationship with God. Please pray for growing spiritual strength and development, that the Holy Spirit will guide and lead the team personally and together.

TUESDAY 8th February

As new projects are being developed ask that God will bless the team and their work. Pray for additional resources that will equip the team to strengthen their programmes and materials for churches. Pray that this may enable them to reach an even greater audience with the Good News and the promise we have Jesus. Ephesians 4:11-13

WEDNESDAY 9th February

Please pray for those who listen to the online broadcasts shared by the team, and for those who courageously reach out, keen to discover more of God and grow in their understanding. Pray for their protection and safety as they experience hostility and rejection, ask that God will encourage and inspire them to carry the Word of God in spite of the dangers they face. Psalm 31:24.

THURSDAY 10th February

Joshua 1:9 encourages us with the words, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Pray for the team that they will be courageous in the Lord, bearing His Word and revealing His truth wherever they go. Our partners explain that there is great fear in being a witness of Jesus to others. Ask that God will bring reassurance and comfort, pray for victory over fear so that they will continue to be fearless in the face of danger.

FRIDAY 11th February

Lift up those who are in government and in positions of leadership in the region. Please pray for those who hold official status, that their hearts are softened towards the gospel as freedom of speech and religion are dependent on them. May the Lord bless them in their leadership decisions and encourage in them a love for the people and for the truth. Pray that they might seek His wisdom and guidance as they make decisions that will impact believers throughout the region.

SATURDAY 12th February

Building and opening large churches is particularly difficult in Central Asia. The team have asked for prayer specifically as they lead new home groups and house churches. Please pray for their encouragement and that the number of house churches will continue to grow across the country, creating one Body of Christ, worshipping together. Ephesians 4:16.
