Our partner in Central Asia runs several ministries including an online streaming service in a region that's hostile to evangelism. They are supporting the young, rapidly growing Church with a growing depository of free Christian literature, music and messages. Listeners are from a predominantly Muslim background where conversion to Christianity can lead to social isolation. This week we are praying for the Dilkash Radio project that aims to reach 18 to 35 year-olds.

SATURDAY 1st May

Dilkash Radio operates in a very challenging environment with both political and economic obstacles affecting the ministry. Please pray for all those in authority that there would be a greater openness to the gospel and the freedom to worship God without fear of arrest and persecution.

SUNDAY 2nd May

We thank God for the growing number of young people who are tuning in and listening Dilkash Radio. Pray for more opportunities to engage and interact with this important audience. Ask the Lord to give listeners boldness to share with family and friends about the radio programmes so that God's word can be heard, discussed and spread freely among the local population.

MONDAY 3rd May

The team is committed to creating the highest quality content to meet the spiritual needs of listeners. With this in mind, please pray for the writers, producers and all those involved in production to be inspired by the Holy Spirit and filled with fresh ideas that will speak clearly about Jesus into the hearts and minds of listeners.

TUESDAY 4th May

Please pray for listeners living in constant fear in this region that's dangerous and unpredictable for Christians. Many are too frightened to speak about Jesus to their Muslim family members and neighbours for fear of being rejected and even imprisonment. Pray they would be set free by God's love, recalling these words in 1 John 4:18: There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear.

WEDNESDAY 5th May

Following a sudden increase in threats from radical Muslims opposed to Dilkash Radio's gospel ministry, please pray for the follow-up team who are often the first to have to deal with this abuse and respond to negative comments on social media. While Dilkash Radio is well hidden from public view, this recent rise in abusive comments and threats is making the team feel very nervous and vulnerable.

Please do join us online at 7pm this evening as we pray with our mission partner in Kyrgyzstan and with fellow Feba supporters. Visit www.feba.org.uk/prayermeeting for full details of how to take part.

THURSDAY 6th May

Please pray for the team to keep growing in their faith and spiritual understanding. In the midst of all the daily pressures of living in this part of the world, pray that each member of the Dilkash team will find time to be refreshed by God's word remembering the words in Proverbs 16:7 – 'I will praise the Lord who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me'.

FRIDAY 7th May

Many people in this region lack any formal education and struggle to get by with basic reading and writing skills. Please pray for the team as they show patience, kindness and understanding towards those who are finding it hard to get work, stay healthy and maintain their self-esteem. Through the witness of Dilkash Radio, may listeners know they are 'fearfully and wonderfully made' (Psalm 139:14) and that God has a special plan for each of their lives.

SATURDAY 8th May

The team is working on a mobile app for people using Apple devices. Unfortunately, Apple insists on disclosing sensitive personal information before the mobile app can be used. Please pray for wisdom in how to meet Apple's requirements without compromising the security of the team developing this important communication tool.
