Stories Latest Stories Meet the team: Neil Neil, who joined us in June 2025, leads our International Ministry Team. We spoke to him about his journey to Feba, what excites him about his work and the time he met King Charles... How did you come to join Feba? I first felt a calling to reach the unreached about 25 years ago, beginning with a prayer trip to Morocco. Since then, this vocation has been my anchor. I worked in the Middle East and with other Christian mission agencies, most recently spending six years with Wycliffe Bible Translators. I was approached by Feba about a job, and after much prayer and discussion with my wife, I felt it was the right fit with my calling of reaching overlooked, hard-to-reach people. What excites you about Feba's ministry? I'm excited by how Feba's partners blend traditional technologies (like shortwave radio) and new innovations (like AI) to reach people in difficult-to-access places. I find myself "on the cutting edge of mission”, supporting courageous partners – who sometimes receive direct death threats – whose ministries are helping people follow Jesus. What gives you joy? I cherish time with my family. Good food, especially Lebanese food. Traveling to the Arab world makes me feel at home, given my time living there. I enjoy watching Wycombe Wanderers, supporting Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, and Scotland qualifying for the World Cup gives me joy (though sometimes mixed with pain!). Is there anything in particular that you are looking forward to in your work? I'm looking forward to visiting new countries where our partners work, meeting people, and witnessing their ministries in action. I'm excited about encountering under-the-radar approaches that are advancing God's Kingdom in remarkable ways. How does Feba choose new places to work and finding new partners? The starting point is our focus on reaching the unreached - we seek partners trying to reach people where there are few or no believers. We value recommendations from existing trusted partners and look at the broader mission context to identify collaboration opportunities. Sometimes, other organisations may have a need we can fill by using audio ministry. We also deepen relationships with existing partners, helping them realise dreams for new projects or approaches. What book do you think everyone should read? The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (the original book, but also the film) by CS Lewis is one of the most beautiful illustrations of the gospel I have found in what is also a wonderful story in its own right. What is something we wouldn't learn about you from your CV? I once attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace for the Prince's Trust and met Prince (now King) Charles. I even got to enjoy a cucumber sandwich! How can we pray for you? I'll be travelling frequently for work. I ask for prayer for family life at home, as well as for my meetings and visits with partners, that these trips would be fruitful. Want to meet more of the team?
