Feba India continues to explore new ways to reach greater numbers with the gospel through audio and online media. As the Delta variant continues to impact the country, Feba India team members are working faithfully to develop local programmes, by local people, aimed at improving self-awareness and self-esteem, particularly among women.

SUNDAY 15th August

Please pray for our partners and volunteers who are responding to the devastation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic by producing programmes that keep people informed and updated on health issues while creating opportunities to engage online and over the airwaves with listeners. As we lift up these faithful people in prayer, let's remember Lamentations 3:21-23: Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

MONDAY 16th August

Most of Feba India's listener meetings have been taking place online since the start of lockdown. Pray that despite having to meet virtually, listeners will still be strengthened and encouraged to grow in their faith and be willing to share what they have learned with family and friends.  

TUESDAY 17th August

Please pray for those who have lost much-loved family members as a result of the pandemic. Recalling these words in Psalm 34:18, 'The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit', pray especially for the children who are grieving and facing a very uncertain future after losing both their parents to COVID-19.

WEDNESDAY 18th August

At this time of severe disruption across India, please pray for clarity and focus for the children and young people as they continue their studies with online classes. Pray that the programmes produced by Feba India both on a national and local level will help to support family life through sharing God's word and addressing key issues of local concern.

THURSDAY 19th August

Please pray for those who have lost their homes and livelihoods in the wake of the devastation caused by Cyclone Yaas in West Bengal in May, remembering these words in Psalm 18:1-2: 'I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold'.

FRIDAY 20th August

As in many parts of the world, there has been an alarming increase in domestic violence in homes across India in recent months. Please pray for those who feel trapped and terrified in homes scarred by abusive relationships. Pray that many will find fresh hope and healing through listening to programmes produced by Feba India that specifically address these very sensitive issues, and that they are able to receive much-needed support and help.

SATURDAY 21st August

Members of the Feba India team often travel long distances to attend meetings, assist with programme production and engage with listeners. Please pray for safety and protection on all their journeys (Psalm 91:11) and pray that God will provide for all the needs of this gospel ministry.
