My first church speaking engagement for Feba was in February 2023. Can you tell us a significant moment on your volunteering journey? The visit to new Feba UK office December 2024. It was good to see the new premises in their attractive surroundings, but, more importantly it was good to spend time with a new generation of staff who are going to continue Feba UK's ministry of supporting like-minded partners internationally. A good mix of continuity and change. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why? We visited the Seychelles in 2019, where we served as Feba missionaries for 4 years, and visited Pakistan in 2024, where we served for 10 years with Feba. Now I feel content to stay in UK! Why is Feba important to you? My interest in Feba stems from a visit that a brilliant engineer made to our Christian Union at university in 1968. He was about to go and serve at the Feba radio station in the Seychelles (pictured). I was reading Electrical Engineering and saw that this was something that the Lord might use me in too. In 1977 we first went to serve in the Seychelles and Feba have been a major part of our lives since! What do you like to do when you are not volunteering for Feba? Gardening! What is one of your favourite Bible verses and why? Isaiah 55 v11 (below) is a verse that my wife and I have seen relating to our lives since before we got engaged. My word...will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
