Meet Luke Hutchinson; not an international man of mystery but a man of international ministry! After joining the Feba team in early 2025, we asked Luke a few questions to get to know him better...

Hi Luke, to start with what brought you to Feba and how would you summarise your role?

I was looking for work due to being made redundant from a previous role. A friend suggested I look up Feba and I discovered the office was only 10 minutes away! I learnt that the International Ministry Project Manager (IMPM) role was available and felt a lot of peace that God had his hand in this opportunity. Thankfully I was offered the role!

As the IMPM I am jointly responsible for supporting and encouraging several of our partners in their ministries. This role has been designed to help expand the International Ministry Team so there is capacity to grow and work with more partners.

What excites you about Feba’s work?

Working internationally brings a lot of excitement and challenges. I’m enjoying learning about countries, cultures and the different ministries. I have been very moved by the stories of listeners placing their faith in Jesus because of a radio programme. It’s amazing to know I now play a part in this.

I also love being a part of growth, change and seeing aspects of work develop. I’m hoping to strengthen our relationships with our partners, increasingly supporting and enabling them in their ministries.

Tell us something we might not know about you.

During college I studied Sound Engineering and later went to a mission training Bible college. At the time I didn’t know why it felt right to do this. Now I understand, with an audio media background and having studied and lived cross-culturally, why God has brought me to Feba at this time.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy mini adventures and love being outdoors, doing water sports and exploring nature. I’ve got a trip soon to camp in Wales where we’ll go for cold swims, make fires for cooking and walk up Pen-y-Fan. I also love Italian food and enjoy making fresh pasta and pizza.

Is there anything supporters can be praying for you about?

As a dad of children aged four and two, please pray for patience, energy and daily resilience!
