Please give today to help make disciples Discovering the Bible together in Mozambique Through their daily broadcasts Radio Wimbe are reaching a Muslim majority audience in the port city of Pemba. But their work doesn't end with the radio. Using the interactive Discovery Bible Study (DBS) method, the follow-up team bring together groups of listeners to study God's word together. They are seeing lives transformed... “Three young men in one village were on the ‘wrong road’. One was abusing alcohol while the other two were thieves. They attended a DBS group and changed their behaviour. They now go to church and will soon be baptised." Farida, Station Manager at Radio Wimbe Daily listeners turning to Jesus In Central Asia, where sharing the gospel is extremely challenging, the follow-up team are discipling people over the phone and leading them to Christ. “One man called our follow-up worker saying his family listens to the programmes every night, learning about Jesus and the word of God together. The follow-up worker told the listener that the only way to reach God is to believe in Jesus: “This is the truth,” the listener responded.” Asad*, part of the team serving a Central Asian Tribal Group Hearts changed in Northeast Africa Mohmed*, a devoted Muslim living in Northeast Africa, felt there was something missing in his faith. He prayed, asking God to show him if Islam was the truth. Soon after, he befriended some Christians at his university, who talked about Jesus and Mohmed started listening to our partner Nomad’s radio programmes on an SD card, that made him question his faith in Islam. Some Christian friends prayed for him and he came to a fellowship meeting where he prayed to receive the Lord. “God loves me and gave His Son for me so I would never perish.
