Help share God's faithfulness Donate You gave me hope, I don’t want to end my life anymore. - Ukrainian soldier Read how God's faithfulness is inspiring and flowing through our partners as they share the good news of Jesus with listeners around the world. Since the escalation to the full-scale war in 2022, God’s love and the message of the gospel have been needed more than ever. Some of the FEBC Ukraine team have become army chaplains, working to broadcast content for military listeners and beyond. Travelling to dangerous parts of the country and often under fire, they work with soldiers on suicide prevention, offering emotional support and helping the men deal with anger issues. Some of their listeners’ stories are truly remarkable. Illya* was in the military but was invalided out after both his legs were broken. He met with one of FEBC Ukraine’s counsellors when he was suicidal. He wept and told them, “I don’t want to live anymore.” The counsellor told him about God and they prayed together, after which Illya put his faith in Jesus: “You gave me hope,” he said; “I don’t want to end my life anymore.” The gospel is a lifeline of hope Rural Ministries Bangladesh (RMB) reaches out to the 90% of the country who do not know or follow Jesus. Bangladeshi Christians are often persecuted because they are seen as renouncing their former religion. But God is in charge, and our faithful partners are continuing to support those who are coming to Christ in difficult situations despite the harmful consequences they may face. This includes listeners like Abhoy*, from Khulna in the southwest of the country. “I heard your programme and contacted you because I wanted to know more about Jesus. I attended your radio listeners’ conference and realised that He is my saviour. I was baptised and shared the good news with my friends and family...There have been threats against me because I follow Jesus. Please keep me in your prayers. Hearing God’s voice of joy Our partners at Iraq FM produce community-focused programmes which address issues facing the country. Iraq is has been experiencing political, economic and social instability for decades. Many listeners are vulnerable, lonely and isolated, but the hope-filled values around God’s joy and peace permeate Iraq FM's programmes and people are coming to faith. Khaled* contacted the team to say that after listening to the broadcasts, he now believes in Jesus. A face-to-face meeting is planned, and he will be discipled and supported in his new faith. Yosef*, one of the Iraq FM team, says: “We are confident that God’s work will continue effectively with the power of the Holy Spirit, despite all the obstacles we face.” Please give.
