Running from the war, she was forced to flee her hometown with her disabled son, resettling in an unfamiliar city. Without a job or community, the darkness seemed to be pressing in. That was until she heard FEBC Ukraine’s broadcasts. “It was FEBC that connected me to a local church here, and we began attending. We never experienced so much love, from both FEBC broadcasters and the Christians in the church. Both me and my son Vladik are now Christians.” Yemen Miles away, another nation also bares the scars of war. "There is no family in Yemen that hasn’t lost someone close during this war.
