Encouragement in Central Asia

For our partner, the Central Asia Project (CAP), sharing the gospel, in a nation where the government exercises extremely tight controls over religious activity, is incredibly difficult and dangerous. In this context, it’s a huge encouragement when people respond to their programmes, like this listener who shared, “I would like to express my gratitude to the CAP with all my heart. May the Lord bless you all who lead this ministry. May the love of Jesus Christ never leave you.” 

Healing in Nepal

Jay* lives in Nepal and has a physical disability. Through lack of accessibility, he has found it hard to find work and struggles to make ends meet. The financial hardship led his marriage to break down, leaving Jay feeling alone and hopeless. However, when he came across Afno FM’s broadcasts things changed:

“I can say that I am no longer alone. I found a true friend in the radio. Every morning, I hear the word of God. The messages have strengthened me and brought healing to my heart. Even though people left me, I have now learned that God never leaves me. This truth has filled my life with joy and hope once again.”

Faith in action in Pakistan

In Pakistan, our partner’s broadcasts are pointing people to Jesus and inspiring listeners to see God’s Kingdom come in their communities. One of their regular listeners was so inspired by their programmes that he decided to set up a public school to provide education for families who otherwise couldn’t afford it. Praise God for the way He is working in, and through, listeners’ lives! 

Restoration in Mozambique

In Mozambique, Paulo’s family relationships were strained. He found it hard to relate to others and was abusive to his wife. One day he started listening to Radio Wimbe, drawn in by words from the Bible. The messages about marriage, the value of women and God’s love impacted him deeply and his behaviour began to change. Now Paulo describes himself as a transformed man, living at peace with his family and pursuing a relationship with Jesus!
