Radio Wimbe is helping to bring lasting, positive change in the communities in Pemba, Mozambique. The radio station is supplementing its Bible teaching radio programmes with face-to-face Bible study groups using Discovery Bible Study (DBS) materials.

SUNDAY 17th November

Please pray for the Mwuani tribe, that God will touch their hearts. Many of them are Muslim and in need of peace, especially those who have been persuaded to join a group who are responsible for attacks in the north of our province.

MONDAY 18th November

Some members of the main opposition party are not in agreement with their party leader, and as a sign of revolt they shoot at buses that pass on the national road in the centre of the country. Please pray urgently that God calms this problem down and brings peace in the midst of this terrifying situation.

TUESDAY 19th November

One of the radio station’s presenters, Glorian, is very ill with diabetes. Please pray that God gives him comfort and healing.

WEDNESDAY 20th November

Please join us in praying for a DBS group in the Quissanga district, all of whom are all Muslim (- this area is predominantly Muslim). Please pray for this group - that there is no conflict against them, and that they come to know the true person of Jesus through the Bible study.

THURSDAY 21st November

Please give thanks for the lives that God is transforming through Radio Wimbe’s ministry. One listener was a sorcerer who became a member of a DBS group and has now accepted Jesus. Having destroyed all the objects he used for sorcery, he’s now a member of the family of Christ's church. Praise God!

FRIDAY 22nd November

Another listener changed his behaviour after listening to the educational programmes broadcast on Radio Wimbe. He used to spend all his money on drink and debt payments, but from the moment he decided to follow the radio programmes, he has learned how to be the best father he can be and now he is happy with his family. Please pray that he continues to be transformed, and that he will choose to follow Jesus too.

SATURDAY 23rd November

Please join the radio station team in praying for the provision of a new member who speaks Portuguese.
