Resources Prayers This Week in Prayer: Central Asia The work of Feba's partners in Central Asia includes a network of FM stations as well as digital technologies such as mobile phone apps. This region is predominantly Muslim and there are many areas where Christians face persecution, often with severe penalties for sharing their faith. A creative approach to programming includes material with a focus on family life, so that listeners can develop a positive and godly lifestyle. FRIDAY 1st November Please pray for God’s protection over the team in Central Asia and their listeners. Working in one of the most closed countries in the world, it is very difficult to hide the work from people opposed to our ministry, including the dictatorial regime and other faith groups. Please pray that the team and its work are not put in danger. SATURDAY 2nd November The team members work under immense pressure in this high-risk environment. It takes a lot of nerve and energy, which sometimes impacts on their personal life too. Please pray that God continues to give them the energy, strength and resources they need. SUNDAY 3rd November Living and working in a region with a very harsh climate, there are huge differences in temperature between day and night, and between seasons too. Air quality is very poor and food standards are low. All these environmental factors combine to cause many health problems including high blood pressure, hypertension, high blood sugar, eating disorders and viruses. Please pray that the team are protected and that God keeps them in good health. MONDAY 4th November Please pray for the families of the team, that they are kept safe, healthy, peaceful and morally secure. Please pray for ongoing support for their loved ones in the ministry too, especially when they are all facing very challenging circumstances. TUESDAY 5th November Please pray for all of the projects; for their success, effectiveness, good coordination and effective time-planning. Sometimes the life of the team members depends on good time-planning and effective coordination between a number of key people. WEDNESDAY 6th November Please pray for all of the projects; for their success, effectiveness, good coordination and effective time-planning. Sometimes the life of the team members depends on good time-planning and effective coordination between a number of key people. THURSDAY 7th November In the area where the team is based, the power supply, internet and phone lines are not stable. Many problems occur when the equipment fails including costly damage, loss of broadcasting and contact with listeners. Please pray for the smooth and continuous running of these key parts of the operation and technical infrastructure. FRIDAY 8th November Please pray for the women listeners who the team has managed to really engage with in the last year. This is traditionally difficult, but the Lord has encouraged these women and now sometimes they are more active than the male audience. Praise God for this development and please pray for their security, creativity and their ongoing involvement. SATURDAY 9th November Please give thanks for the strong relationship between Feba UK and our partner organisation. Please pray that our good collaboration grows with clear communication and an understanding of each other's vision. May the Lord give us total unanimity in all our projects and ideas.
