This week in prayer

November 29th - December 5th

Iraq FM, our partner in an urban area of Iraq is still on air, showing great perseverance under huge pressure. The recent move to a new studio should provide the team with a safe and established base from which to continue their ministry.

Sunday   Monday   Tuesday    Wednesday    Thursday    Friday    Saturday

SUNDAY 29th November

Thank God that Iraq FM is now broadcasting from its new studio. Give thanks that, after a few technical problems, the station’s signal is reaching all of its long-standing listeners.

MONDAY 30th November

Please pray that the new site will be a place of security for the local team, and that they will be able to continue to bless their community in what are still challenging times.

TUESDAY 1st December

Pray for the programmes. The Iraq FM team have started a new feature, in which they invite one listener every week to come into the studio and be interviewed live on air. Pray that this will strengthen their relationships with listeners and the wider community, and that the team will be protected.

WEDNESDAY 2nd December

Please pray for the team. In the last year, the Iraq FM team has lost a number of staff and volunteers who have moved away in search of more secure places to live. Please pray for a new team of volunteers to be recruited to help the hard-working core-team who have remained.

THURSDAY 3rd December

Praise God for the recent calls from several listeners. These calls illustrate the difference Iraq FM is making, both in helping individuals to make positive changes in their lives and in demonstrating Christian love.

FRIDAY 4th December

Give thanks Give thanks for Iraq FM’s faithfulness in serving God and reaching out to their community, despite the difficult security situation. Pray that their broadcasts will continue to be heard and to make a real difference in the lives of their listeners.

SATURDAY 5th December

Pray for God’s blessing on Feba’s new partner in northern Iraq. Pray that our partnership will be an encouragement to the Iraq FM team and that our new partner’s station becomes even more effective in declaring the good news and meeting the needs of its listeners in Northern Iraq.
