Feba's summer appeal (June '24) features a project that we don't usually share much about - for security reasons. Remarkably, we can actually offer a very rare opportunity to hear directly from one of the team members involved in producing that particular project.

Our partner A* lives and works in the region served by the project, and this will be the first time that we've hosted him in the UK on such a visit. He is coming primarily to attend a conference in late June, and will then be spending a few days meeting with Feba's supporters across the UK.

Unfortunately, time is limited and so we can only manage a small number of events in a handful of locations. We will be covering a reasonable area, but we do recognise that it will inevitably be difficult for some people to travel to any of the meetings - and for that, we are sorry. Some details have yet to be finalised, but the current outline timetable is as follows:

Wed. 26th June, 7.00pm:   Angmering

Fri. 28th June, 10.30am:   Egham

Fri. 28th June, 7.00pm:   Cardiff

Sat. 29th June, 10.30am:   Monmouth

Sat. 29th June, 3.30pm:   Solihull

Sun. 30th June, 5.45pm:   Sheffield

Mon. 1st July, 10.30am:   Lincoln

Mon. 1st July, 7.00pm:   Cambridge

There will be a fairly standard format for most of the events, quite similar to our monthly online prayer meetings: we'll be offering a hot drink and biscuit / cake on arrival before A* shares an update on the project - giving a short presentation, followed by an interview-style conversation and then chance for supporters to ask questions of him directly, and we'll then be praying together too.

Please note that for security reasons it will be necessary to register your attendance in advance. We are therefore asking supporters interested in coming to any of the events to either click here to complete a simple online form or phone us on 01903 286400. We will then send you the full location information in good time - prior to the date. When getting in touch, please ensure that you give the following details:

  • Your full name (i.e. first name and surname)
  • The first line of your address
  • Your postcode
  • Your Feba supporter number (- if you know it)
  • Your phone number and / or email address
  • Details of which church you attend
  • Which event you'd like to attend
  • Any dietary or access requirements
  • Details of any guests you'd like to invite

This really is a special opportunity not to be missed! The project is a long-established part of Feba's ministry portfolio and the impact it is having is very encouraging - reaching a particularly strategic people group, in a very sensitive area. We do sincerely hope you'll be able to join us to learn more about how God is at work through our partner A* and his colleagues, as they seek to inspire people to follow Jesus.

Thank you for your faithful, generous partnership with Feba. We very much look forward to seeing you.

Important note:

Please do not publicise the link to this webpage in any general or open way - i.e. not on any third party website or newsletter - without prior consent from Feba. The invitation is intended primarily for existing Feba supporters or those known to them personally and invited as their guests. We would, however, obviously like to use this opportunity to introduce people to Feba's work; please therefore simply contact the Feba office to discuss options if you would like to extend the invitation to others from your church or elsewhere. Thank you.
