Christ comes to bring hope to listeners like *Nadeem, a young woman, who was forced on three occasions to marry men twice her age.

She fled from Yemen and received post-trauma counselling. She has fresh hope for her future and is in touch with other Yemeni Christians.

‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’

Jeremiah 29:11

Hope = looking forward in faith and beyond the immediate. We raise our eyes from our immediate circumstances and trust God for the future.

Take a moment to look a the world around you with hope – fresh hope where there is despair, new hope where dreams have been lost, and actively put your faith in God who cares deeply for you.

Amid a continuing crisis, The Yemen Project is committed to serving weary, traumatised and searching people. The team are bringing their listeners humanitarian aid, advice on relevant social issues and, above all, hope.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13

Pray for Yemen: Pray for Yemen as it continues in the grip of conflict. Pray for the safety of local believers and the radio programmes which build them up and encourage them as they live out their faith despite isolation and fearful surroundings.
