The people of Ukraine are experiencing a dramatic and unprecedented escalation of the armed conflict that has been running since 2014. This is a country at war; people are seeking peace, hope and love.

Poverty, family breakdown and unrest are already issues familiar to this generation of Ukrainians. Feba's partners are reaching out to a population who have lived through two generations of Christian suppression and persecution under the Soviet occupation: they are sharing the uniquely good news of a loving God who is transforming lives in an area not always welcoming of the gospel message.

Evacuations and attacks across the country since the war broke out on 24th February have had a direct impact on the team. Despite these challenges, they continue to broadcast and reach out to listeners in this extraordinarily difficult time. As they follow up with terrified listeners through phone calls and messages using social media, the team are sharing scripture on air and offering hope in the midst of conflict. Many fearful hearts are melting and are opening to the love of Jesus.

As one broadcaster shares, “Human words aren’t working right now. We need God’s words.”

Now, more than ever, the team need your prayers and financial support so they can continue providing this vital service.

Your gift will help ensure that the Ukraine team, and others facing conflict elsewhere, can continue to share words of enduring peace, hope and love. Their listeners are facing acute and immediate challenges that most of us can scarcely imagine. With your support, Bible-centred programmes can reach even more hearts and transform lives - in Ukraine, as well as in other areas facing conflict.

Crisis and fear often make people vulnerable, but it is also in times like this when the gospel can be clearly heard. As CS Lewis wrote, 'Pain is God’s megaphone to a deaf world.' Our partners in Ukraine are pointing their listeners boldly to Jesus, speaking into their moment of crisis with the certain hope of the gospel.

Thousands have been reached with the good news, and thousands more still need to hear it!

“How do I explain we are living in a new reality - in the reality of war?” These were the words of FEBC broadcaster Sergey, as his five-year old son asked him, “Daddy, what are those bad noises?”

Despite uncertainty and fear, Sergey continues to point to Jesus, sharing, “Our hope is only in the Lord.”

Feba's partners across Africa, Asia and the Middle East know the power of radio and audio media to share God's love - even in times of conflict. Will you please join with us in supporting this vital ministry?

Please pray today for the team as they reach out to those who desperately need hope right now.
