This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us…

1 John 3:16

Maybe the Beatles were heading in the right direction in 1967 when they declared: “All you need is love”. This deepest human need was met by God in the greatest display of love – sending his Son to die an atoning death on the cross. And yet, this fantastic, life-changing act of love is still unknown to so many people around the world.

Feba works in partnership with individuals, organisations and communities to use radio and other audio media to communicate this act of love and inspire others to follow Christ. As Firoz says:

Radio breaks the barrier and talks directly with the heart of people. It is radio that helps thousands of people to meet with Christ…

We know, too, that Jesus gave his followers a new and challenging command: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34

Love expresses itself in many ways through the radio programmes, which are all rooted in Christian values and biblical truth, and speak to all areas of life – health, family and community relationships, social, spiritual and practical needs.

This listener in Mozambique said: “Because of Radio Wimbe and the word of God, people change in lots of ways. I am very thankful – it teaches love and does not lie.”

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love and compassion for us revealed in the coming of your Son to die on the cross for us. Thank you that in his death and resurrection we find forgiveness for sins and life everlasting. We pray that listeners to the radio programmes would open their hearts to accept this truth. Amen.
