Feba's CEO Bob Chambers reflects on the faithful supporters who have given over the last year, and God's provision for Feba's ministry as we move towards 2017.

Bob Chambers, Feba CEOFeba's financial year begins in October, so I've found myself taking stock of where we are and what God has done through us in the last 12 months. As I do so, I realise and rejoice at how faithful God has been.

It’s been a tricky period in some ways, but He has provided for us at every step. We’re now planning prayerfully for the next year, trusting that God will continue to lead and enable us to deliver the ministry He sets before us.

Sarah said, 'God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.'

Genesis 21:6 NIV

I’ve been reflecting recently on Genesis 21, in which God provides a son to the elderly Abraham and Sarah. This kind of provision is truly remarkable – literally laughable (v6) – and demonstrates God’s extraordinary power and resources.

We at Feba have seen God’s faithful and generous provision in the past year.  It is such an encouragement to know that, as we step into a new year, the God who creates life out of nothing walks with us. Things are still far from easy, but we know God’s ability to provide.

Thank you Feba supporters

I understand, too, that God often chooses to provide through other people. If you are one of the many who give to Feba already, Thank You so much once again. If not, then could I please encourage you to consider and pray about whether you might perhaps be part of God’s provision for Feba’s ministry going forward – whether that’s with occasional or regular giving, or maybe a legacy?

Talking about legacies can make us feel awkward, but they’re a wonderful way to bring God-inspired change to individuals and communities many years into the future. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more about how to do that.

Feba's current appeal is in support of the Women's Initiative Radio project in northern India.  These broadcasts promote dialogue on serious issues such as gender-based violence, child marriage and sex trafficking.  Seeking to empower women and girls in India, the radio programmes help listeners to realise their God-given value.  Your support is vital to bring change through these transmissions.

Thank you once again for your interest in and support for Feba’s ministry as we journey together.
