Date: Wednesday 8th February, 7-9pm.

Location: Worthing, West Sussex.

We are delighted to be able to host a supporter event for anyone wishing to learn more about Umoja FM – a project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, supported jointly by Feba and partner organisation Health Communication Resources (HCR).

Our special guest for the evening will be The Right Reverend Sabiti Tibafa Daniel, the Bishop of Kamango, DRC.

Bishop Sabiti was installed as the first ever bishop in the newly created Diocese of Kamango in January 2016. He is closely involved with the Umoja FM radio project and is uniquely placed to be able to share with us the heart and vision he and others locally have for the station’s development, as well as stories and learnings from the early stages of the project’s life.

There will be an introduction to the context of DRC and specifically the troubled region of North Kivu, updates on the project itself, a chance to ask questions, and time to pray.

Bishop Sabiti will be in the UK primarily in order to attend a ‘New Bishop’s Conference’ in Canterbury but has very graciously agreed to visit Worthing. He only obtained his visa on 23rd January hence the exceptionally short notice, but we still believe it is well worthwhile organising this supporter event; we trust you will agree, and sincerely hope that you will be able to join us!

Hot drinks from 7pm, presentations start at 7.30pm finishing around 9pm.
