It is with a spirit of thankfulness and expectation that we look back at what God has done through Feba over the past 60 years and consider what might still be to come.

From having originally supported the work of FEBC through the United States, then later undertaking an ambitious project to establish a base in the Seychelles, to developing a network of ministries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East, it is certainly true to say that Feba UK has been on quite a journey! A desire to share God's love and to make Him known in some of the world's most hard-to-reach places has motivated a great number of men and women to be part of that journey over time. The ministry would not have been possible without the vision and faithfulness of the founders, the oversight of trustees and associates, the dedication of those who have served overseas and in the UK, and the sacrificial giving and prayers of countless generous supporters. There is much to give thanks for.

When the original small group met in the late 1950s, they cannot have imagined how Feba's ministry would grow and evolve over time, and they would have had no idea of the reach and the number of lives touched as result of the broadcasts. The same is true today: radio and audio media technologies might have changed, but their relevance and effectiveness as tools for Christian mission remain strong; there are undoubtedly needs and opportunities for Feba to engage with in the years ahead, where media can be used creatively to inspire people to follow Jesus Christ.

We are planning a special anniversary celebration for the afternoon of 8th June 2019, to be held in north Surrey. There will be a service of thanksgiving and dedication, as we reflect and look to the future too. The service will include an address by Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali as well as contributions from some former and current staff. An afternoon tea will provide further opportunity to meet together informally and share stories. It is our prayer that the afternoon will be encouraging and inspiring, and we would therefore warmly invite anyone with an interest in Feba's ministry to join us.

If you would like to register your interest in attending Feba's Diamond Anniversary Celebration, please simply send an email to [email protected]

Please note that for security reasons you do need to register for this event, and we will then confirm full details (including location and timing) in a formal invitation to follow. Thank you for your understanding.

We are compiling some material from the Feba archives to share during the afternoon. If you have anything that you would be willing to contribute to that - in whatever format, then please do let us know by using that same email address (above).

Please do join us for what promises to be a very special afternoon on Saturday 8th June.
