Let's make a jingle in Uxbridge

Episode Number:
Ep 21:

An impromptu jingle by INTRA, a gathering of young adults from Waterloo Road Church in Uxbridge, plus a short interview with Fernando Sumenetato Mandawo, a Feba Mozambique staff member. [14:00 mins]

Meeting with INTRA's 30 or so young adults was a great time for Feba UK's Mark & Rose Taylor. We got to show them our Chrysolite suitcase studio, and answer lots of questions they had about Feba's ministry. If you would like a similar event for your young adult group, contact Chris Binstead by email: cbinstead@feba.org.uk

Feba is currently working on a ministry plan and partnership with IBRA to build a local FM station in the town of Pemba, and although these plans are hardly out of the starting block, you can sense the enthusiasm and faith in Fernando’s view of what needs to happen. Pray that the Lord will reward his faith that some large obstacles will not be too big for God.

Feba Mozambique is aiming at establishing three FM stations, in Macomia, Balama, and Pemba, in the next five years. Macomia is well on its way, in a partnership with AIM. The buildings are done, the equipment is on its way, and we are waiting for a radio licence.

The Mwane people are a perfect candidate group to be reached by radio. They are hard to reach in several ways: they are hardened against the gospel, they are remotely located, and there have only been a few converts in more than a decade of missionary activity amongst them.

Music in this episode is, Jesus Joy of Man’s Desiring by Ralph Rousseau Meulenbroeks, which is available at www.magnatune.com. All music played in Casting Hope episodes is 'podsafe'.
