Oral peoples – the non-literate and those reliant on oral communication – most often remember and pass on information through storytelling. Feba communicates the Gospel to oral peoples through storytelling radio programmes, often using Chronological Bible Storying (CBS). CBS presents the Bible in chronological order, telling the stories in the local language. Programmes are often repeated to help listeners remember the stories. So they listen, remember and tell others what they have heard.
For the hard-to-reach people – people who are reliant on spoken communication - in our broadcast areas, Feba can spread the Gospel through the radio. Feba is sharing Bible stories exactly where stories are cherished.
