Christ comes to bring peace to listeners like Komalungo who lives in the unsettled, often violent, eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, North Kivu. Programmes broadcast in the four main languages of the area bring messages of peace.

Komalungo was a listener to Feba's broadcasts in French back in the 1970's and 80's.  He was thrilled to hear that Feba was back in the Congo after 30 years:

“You can imagine how pleased I was when I heard that Feba was helping to set up a radio station in my own village of Nobili…. Now we have Umoja FM which is on air many hours each day giving us news and information.”

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 14:27

Peace = feeling of rest deep down inside. A calm state of mind where we are able to accept that ultimately God is in control, even if events and current circumstances are chaotic, painful or dangerous.

We can have peace because we trust that God is in control.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

Philippians 4:7

Pray for DRC: Pray for our partners as they seek to use radio to address community issues and support the local people living in a place where violent attacks are a constant threat.
