Travelling about as Feba Ambassador

Having recently returned from the Baptist Assembly in Bournemouth and looking ahead to the Christian Resources Exhibition (CRE), Feba’s Ambassador Chris Binstead is very busy and very happy: “I have the privilege of sharing about Feba’s ministry, meeting people face to face and being able to talk about things that I am quite passionate about.”

“I’m passionate about Feba because having had the opportunity of going overseas and into some of the areas where we broadcast, I have been able to meet listeners, meet some of our programme makers, and see the passion in their lives, about how they want to share God’s word with people. And it’s rubbed off onto me.” Listen to Chris say more by clicking the audio icon above.

At this week’s CRE (12-15 May in Sandown, Esher), Chris is looking forward to sharing about Feba Prayer Groups, Spotlight Listener Clubs and Feba’s suitcase studio. He says: “People's eyes light up when they see the studio in a suitcase. It’s a real excitement for me to see how they respond to an electrical piece of equipment and yet they can see what a tool that can be, to be able to reach out to people in other parts of the world.” For more information about CRE, go to http://www.creonline.co.uk/

Feba Representative (Ireland)
Chris is not alone in representing Feba. On 11-12 May staff from the Worthing office will be in Ireland interviewing candidates for the Feba Representative (Ireland) role. This person will promote Feba’s ministry and develop relationships with Christian groups in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, including speaking at churches, representing Feba at Christian exhibitions and conferences, developing partnerships with other organisations and developing a network of Feba Prayer Groups.

Prayer Points

 • Pray for Chris and other Feba staff as they meet people at the Christian Resources Exhibition this week, that people will be inspired to support Feba’s ministry.
 • Pray for staff members as they travel to Ireland and interview people for the Feba Representative position, that God will guide their conversations and decisions.
 • Pray for those who Chris met at the Baptist Assembly that the new relationships will be developed into fruitful parts of Feba’s ministry as new people join Feba Prayer Groups and consider starting Spotlight Listener Clubs.
