This past week Feba UK and Feba South Africa were in strategic planning meetings to update their partnership agreements for radio ministry to Africa.

Bob Bartz has accepted the invitation to become Feba UK's Development Director for Southern and Central Africa with responsibility for South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi as well as the Francophone countries. With effect from 1 December 2008, Bob will absorb his previous work as Broadcast Technology Director for Africa into this new role.

How do you feel about this new opportunity in radio ministry?

Bob says: “This is really an expansion of my role as Broadcast Technology Director. It is going to encourage our associations and ministry centres to not only use technology wisely and well, but also help the broader ministry bear fruit. By looking after Feba ministry in southern Africa, I will be able to influence technology decisions as well as shape the environment so that real fruit results, leading listeners to faith in Christ.

I very much want to see ministry advance and produce lasting fruit and results in listeners' lives. The new role enables me to utilize many other skills of management and leadership beyond just the technical elements. I'm really looking forward to successful and accountable ministry in southern Africa.”
