We’ve all read plenty of news about the chaos in the Middle East. Thankfully Feba’s radio producers are presenting lots of news and interesting stories to encourage their listeners. Feba’s William Mateer also caught up with a former Feba Middle East programme producer at a women’s conference in Ireland.
We are keen to hear your views on Feba

How can Rashid follow Jesus in secret?
For hundreds of thousands of people every year, following Jesus can result in persecution, imprisonment and even death. Many become hidden believers – keeping their faith a secret. For those following Jesus in secret – Feba gives hope and encouragement.

Prayer for workshop for new believers
The team working with People Group S in the Horn of Africa region have requested that we pray for a special workshop to be held this weekend.
Prayer Points
- Pray that God will make the time this weekend holy, and that he will not allow Satan to have even the smallest success from within or without as they identify with Jesus in his death, burial and resurrection.
- Pray for the four little underground churches that were planted as these new ones became followers of Jesus.
- Pray that godly leaders will emerge, that the members of the body will submit to one another out of reverence for Jesus, and that they will be able to stand their ground if persecution comes their way.

Talking together in wake of church attack
Feba’s FM team in Iraq are talking with people in the community, helping them voice their concerns following the hostage drama last week. On Sunday 31 October, dozens of Christians were killed in an Iraqi church by gunmen who were holding worshippers hostage, until a police raid ended the stand-off.
Prayer Points
- Pray that Christians would take the opportunity to witness about their faith, about God's love and forgiveness.
- Pray that peace would spread in Iraq.
- Pray for a listener called Saba. She lost her father and her husband in this attack. She is pregnant and was shot in the back.
- Pray that this attack would unify the church in Iraq.
