Sending radios to communities in Nepal
Radio is making a difference in very practical ways in many villages throughout Nepal. Thanks to you who participated in the save a life, send a radio campaign that finished in December. Because of the money raised through send a radio, the teams at Aafno FM in Dadeldhura and Okhaldunga, Nepal, have been distributing hundreds of radios as part of their radio ministry throughout 2011.
Prayer Points
- Pray for Vijay as he coordinates the CoRIN project (Community Radio Initiative in Nepal) with a local healthcare partner. Pray for them as they are planning the next steps in starting another Aafno FM station.
- Pray for the Aafno FM team in Okhaldunga, Nepal, as they continue to develop relationships with listeners, and pray that the newly installed solar panels will resolve their power issues.
- Pray the Aafno FM team in Dadeldhura, Nepal, as they visit with listeners to find out how their radio distribution project is helping the community and as they put together programmes for their community every day.
