Prayer for workshop for new believers

The team working with People Group S in the Horn of Africa region have requested that we pray for a special workshop to be held this weekend.

Prayer Points

  • Pray that God will make the time this weekend holy, and that he will not allow Satan to have even the smallest success from within or without as they identify with Jesus in his death, burial and resurrection.
  • Pray for the four little underground churches that were planted as these new ones became followers of Jesus.
  • Pray that godly leaders will emerge, that the members of the body will submit to one another out of reverence for Jesus, and that they will be able to stand their ground if persecution comes their way.

Rain has come!

“God has allowed the skies to open up in the part of Africa where we work. We have reports that the people are very happy because the rains have thoroughly drenched the area over several days. The vast dusty plains have been turned into mud, and dormant seeds of grass have already begun to germinate,” reports the project coordinator working with the People Group ‘A’ in northeastern Africa.

Planting the Christmas message

Feba’s Christmas programmes in the Horn of Africa are right in step with the recent UN Climate Conference.

In a drought-prone region, and linked to local Christmas tradition, programme emphasis is on caring for God’s creation – by planting trees.<--break->
