Christmas--people know it as a traditional festival, as a shopping holiday, as winter solstice or even as the annual occasion for card posting. For Feba programme producers in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, this is a special time of the year when they add the true meaning of Christmas to their programme topics and discussions.
After being postponed a week to clean up water damage, training of the programme producers for the new FM community radio station in Malawi will begin on 8 December, continuing through 19 December. Due to the unexpected delay, this training will overlap the on-air date for test transmissions, beginning on 17 December.
