our regions

For many people, radio is the only way to hear about Jesus. Offices based in or near these regions are staffed by nationals who decide on programme content, produce the programmes and correspond with listeners by letter, SMS, e-mail and on the telephone.

Asia

  • These listeners (more 'unreached' peoples than any other part of the world) range from village dwellers to city businessmen, including Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Christian minority.
  • Programmes focus on Bible basics about who Jesus is, leadership skills to Christian pastors, farming techniques, healthcare tips, biblical lifestyle.
  • Countries in Asia we broadcast to include: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Tibet, and the countries of the former Soviet Union.

Africa

  • Many of these listeners are afflicted by war, famine, political strife, sickness and poverty. 50 per cent of African people claim to be Christian, but many have no personal experience of God.
  • Programmes focus on Bible-based teaching for practical topics such as AIDS, healthcare, family care, farming and business.
  • We broadcast to audiences in Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.

Middle East

  • In the Arabic-speaking world, Feba has a potential audience of 250 million.
  • Programmes focus on Bible basics, especially the person of Jesus Christ, the validity of the Bible, the love and forgiveness of God and other misconceptions that Muslim listeners may have.
  • Our Arabic broadcasts reach audiences in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria; Egypt, Sudan and other countries in North Africa; Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the countries of the Gulf.
